greens and somewhat less the tees and fairways. There are signs of recovery, and it will succeed with Gary’s professional attention and care. It will just take time. Meanwhile, repairing ball marks on the greens and filling tee and fairway divots will aid the process. The winter kill isn’t confined to the Creek; every course in the area suffered to a greater or lesser extent. Chalk it up to another challenge Gary must address.
Feel good – play The Creek!
The ladies 18-hole golf group plays every Thursday throughout the year. Their annual schedule includes a variety of enjoyable formats. Members as well as guests are welcome to join for a competitive and congenial experience at the Creek. Post-round lunches and good-natured commiserations on the day’s play are common at the grille. Any of the group’s officers (Cookie Caruso, Mimi Wittkamp, Pat Shealy, Marge DePalermo) or tournament committee members (Louise Latsko, Ann Marie Cox, Carolyn Davis, Jeanne Scarton) will be happy to introduce newcomers to the group.
